HELP BRING DOULA SUPPORT TO WOMEN IN HONDURAS.

My heart is full of hope and love as I face the challenge of making a mission trip like this a reality.
Since becoming a doula 7 years ago, the idea of traveling internationally to serve and support women has been on my heart and a few months back we came across a place in who is doing just that. Dar A Luz in Honduras hosts groups of Doulas to serve in two Hospitals there to bring support to the many women who labour on their own and in conditions much different then here in Canada. Dar A Luz works with the staff to bring compassionate care to those women through collaboration of their doula program and show that support can have such a positive impact these women.

I am a certified birth and Bereavement Doula who serves women & their families through my business Li’l Apple Doula Services in Olds and Red Deer areas. I also volunteer as a doula with a few local organizations. Now I have an opportunity to serve as a doula Internationally and I am reaching out to ask for your support.

Baggage and airport fees $70

Scrubs: $150
Travel Vaccinations: $150
Travel Insurance: $70
Health Professional items: $150
We are also in need of face cloths, gloves, shoe covers, masks, sanitary napkins, paper fans, wet wipes, and childbirth education items.
If we each raise more then our personal goal we will use the extra funds to buy much need medical supplies for the program, or help one of our other doula volunteers who is in need of funds to come with us.
