It may be summer time, but some mamas out there might be searching for a Certified Doula for their upcoming birth this fall or later in the year. My name is Christa Duquette and I am certified with DONA International. I attended births in Olds,AB, Three Hills,AB, and Red Deer,AB. I am also a certified HypnoDoula for Hypnobabies clients. I have been fortunate to have had the opportunity to work with all the doctors at the PCN Maternity Clinic in Olds at various births and in different capacity’s and am familiar with both the Olds and Red Deer hospitals, with my own three births taking place at the Olds Hospital in 2004, 2008 and recently in 2012.
I currently have openings for clients. If you are looking for a Doula to help support you and your partner during birth, I’d be happy to meet with you for an no obligation interview. I accept up to 3 clients a month and have a variety of experience with births of many kinds; supporting VBAC’s, Vaginal Births, Caesarean Births, Midwife attended births, Epidurals, Natural Births and recently Hypno Births.
I currently sit on the board as President of the Red Deer Doula Association and enjoy the opportunity to Volunteer as a Doula with the Central Alberta Pregnancy Care Center in Olds, and ASH Volunteer Doula Program.
